Portola Packaging Ltd is pleasd to announce that the Doncaster plant has achieved a manufacturing industry wide milestone of 5 years without a lost time accident.

Portola has been accredited by the British Safety Council, and has held a 5 star award for the last three years.” I am very proud of this achievement” said Operations Director for Europe Paul Dovey. “Everyone has worked very hard to obtain this very high standard of safety and it will be even more difficult to maintain it for the future”.

• All employees have gone through NVQ in Business Improvement techniques level 2, module 1 Health &Safety.
• Employees are trained in Risk assessments.
• Managers are trained in accident investigations, near miss/hazard spotting investigations.
